Is the Jewish Tenach separated into books, chapters, and verses exactly as the Old Testament appears in my Bible?

All the same material is there, and it is indeed separated into books and chapters, but the ordering of the books is somewhat different.  Within the books, the chapter and verse divisions are mostly the same as in the corresponding books of the Christian OT, with some variations. In the Psalms for example, titles such "A song of David" are considered verse 1 in Hebrew, and consequently all following verses are numbered one greater than in the Christian Bible.  The book of Malachi is another point of divergence, since in Hebrew there is no Chapter 4.  All the verses in the Christian chapter 3 are considered part of Chapter 3 in Hebrew.   The best way to be sure is to pick up an English translation of the Tenach in any major bookstore (or borrow one from a public library) and just look a verse or two behind or before to match up with the Christian translations.
